Dr. Daniel Owens received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI in 2005. He completed his Internship at Michigan State University and performed his Residency at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, IL. Dr. Owens then completed a two-year Vitreo-Retinal Surgical Fellowship at Northwestern-McGraw Medical Center, Chicago. Dr. Owens is an attending physician at Edward Hines VA Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Loyola University Department of Ophthalmology, Maywood, IL. Dr. Owens is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical treatments for diseases affecting the retina, macula and vitreous. When not in the office, Dr. Owens loves spending time with his wife, Leslie and their two children. He has a passion for golf, and all things related.
